When it comes to installation, we suggest measuring from D-ring to D-ring, leaving 1.5 - 2 feet of space for the hardware kit between the D-ring and mounting points. For a rectangular area ---AxB, consider a shade sail size of ---axb. For example, if AxB equals 11.4'x14.8', opt for a shade size of approximately 10'x13' to prevent sagging after installation. To make installation easier, we recommend using our Shade&Beyond shade sail hardware kit (sold separately).
